WHAT'S THE BEST CLEANSER FOR MY SKIN TYPE?
Your cleanser needs to remove makeup, dirt, pollution and excess oil, leaving your skin as the perfect blank canvas for the rest of your skincare routine.
When it comes to the choice between a lathering face wash and a traditional cleanser (often creamy, milky or gel-like in texture), it’s largely a matter of personal choice, lifestyle and skin type. Both essentially do the same job of face cleaning but will leave your skin feeling differently - drier skins may feel too ‘squeaky’ clean after a face wash whereas they are suitable for oiler or blemish-prone skin types.
You may also want to use a heavier cleanser at night, especially if you work or live in a city, wear daily SPF (we hope that’s all of you!) or wear makeup. Then a mild wash-off cleanser in the morning is all you’ll need to remove any overnight sweat and last night’s skincare.
