What are essential skincare products for any routine?

A healthy skin routine has a few key components. At Kiehl's we recommend that you cleanse, tone, moisturise and apply sunscreen every day. For dark spots and discolorations, fine lines and wrinkles and other concerns, apply targeted facial serums and treatments. Several times a week, treat your skin with a facial mask formulated to detoxify, hydrate or help firm skin.

How do you find the best skincare routine for you?

After you have discovered your skin type and identified your skin concerns, look for formulas suitable for you. At your Kiehl's consultation, our Skincare Experts can recommend skincare products that will effectively target your concerns and help you begin a healthy skin routine.

What is the correct skin care routine order?

At Kiehl's we recommend the following order for applying skincare products:

Cleanser
Toner
Eye Treatment
Facial Oil and/or Serum
Moisturiser
Sunscreen (during the day!)

If you are using a rinse-off mask, apply after cleansing and follow with the rest of your routine. If you are applying an overnight face mask, use it after or in place of your moisturiser according to the formula's directions.
