What It Is

Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins that make up your hair, playing a crucial role in maintaining strength and moisture. When hair lacks these essential components, it can become prone to breakage and dryness. Kiehl's Amino Acid Shampoo is a gentle daily shampoo enriched with Naturally-Derived Coconut Oil, Amino Acids, and Hydrolysed Wheat Protein. This paraben-free formula effectively cleanses while helping to add body, fullness, and shine. Amino Acids work alongside gentle cleansing agents to help strengthen hair and protect against breakage caused by brushing or styling — leaving hair feeling soft, healthy, and manageable. With a light, fresh scent and a creamy lather, we consider it a customer favourite suitable for all hair types. Continue reading to discover what makes this shampoo so effective.

Amino Acid Conditioner

Hair is primarily made of protein, and daily exposure to styling, heat, and environmental factors can weaken its structure. Amino acids—the building blocks of protein—can help restore and strengthen hair. Our Amino Acid Conditioner combines these essential amino acids with nourishing Coconut Oil and Jojoba Oil for daily conditioning.
