KIEHLS FAMILY REWARDS PROGRAMME TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the terms and conditions which govern the Kiehl’s Family Rewards loyalty programme ("Kiehl’s Family Rewards").
References to ‘you’ or ‘your’ mean you as a participant in Kiehl’s Family Rewards. References to ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’ or ‘Kiehl’s’ are to the provider of Kiehl’s Family Rewards, which is L’Oréal (UK) Limited, acting through its Kiehl’s trading division. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 271555 and we have our registered office at 255 Hammersmith Road, London W6 8AZ.

HOW TO ENROL, RECEIVE AND REDEEM PROGRAMME REWARDS, OR DISENROL
Rewards under Kiehl’s Family Rewards may be earned and redeemed only for purchases made on www.Kiehls.co.uk and at Kiehl’s free standing boutiques in the UK. Purchases in Republic of Ireland, Kiehl’s counters in department stores, Kiehl’s airport locations, Kiehl’s by Mail, other third-party retailers or other retailers are not eligible for Kiehl’s Family Rewards.
You may enrol online in Kiehl’s Family Rewards through here and will be required to provide your full name and email address. You may also enrol in Kiehl’s Family Rewards Kiehl’s at any free standing boutique in the UK where you will be required to provide your full name, email address, phone number and preferred local boutique. Your enrolment will be confirmed with a welcome message sent to the email address provided.
On enrolment in Kiehl’s Family Rewards, you will automatically become a member of the ‘Fan’ tier (“Fan”) and can begin earning points = 1 point for every £1 spent. Fans can enjoy early access to Kiehl’s promotions, opportunities to earn additional points and other gifts and offers from time to time. When a Fan tier member earns 120 points and reaches the threshold for ‘Friend’ tier membership (“Friend”) eligibility, they will automatically be upgraded to Friend tier membership. Similarly, when a Friend member earns 350 points and reaches the threshold for Family tier membership (“Family”) eligibility, they will automatically be upgraded to Family tier membership. To maintain tier status, members must re-qualify within two calendar years of the date on which they achieve their current membership tier level (“Member Year”). In other words, a member must achieve required points threshold within 2 years of achieving a particular tier in order to maintain that tier level for another year. If a member does not maintain the required level of points during the two year-long tier window (including factoring in any returned purchases, in accordance with point 26 below), the member will be downgraded to the tier for which they qualify based on their points accrual in the preceding year.
Fan and Friend tier Members will receive a £10 voucher for every120 points they earn within their Member Year. Family tier Members will receive a £15 voucher for every 120 points they earn within their Member Year. Kiehl’s may also provide members with an opportunity to receive additional account points, rewards, or other benefits (such as exclusive birthday offers) at its sole discretion. In addition to earning 1 point for every £1 spent, all Members will have the following opportunities to earn points from non-transactional activity:
Skin Consultation: Earn 20 points for completing a skin consultation with a Kiehl’s Customer Representative either at a Kiehl’s boutique or a virtual consultation at www.kiehls.co.uk/world-of-kiehls/online-booking.html Once you have completed your skin consultation, your points will be assigned to your Member account. Points for Skin Consultations can be awarded a maximum of four times a year.
Recycle & Be Rewarded: Earn 15 points for each empty full size or travel size product from any skincare brand which you return to any Kiehl’s free standing boutique in the UK. Plus earn 30 points and a £10 voucher for every 10 empty products you return. Empty sample size products and mail-in recycling (if applicable) are excluded from this offer.
Refer A Friend: Earn 50 points when you a) invite friends to join Kiehl’s Family Rewards and register with your referral code and b) they make their first purchase as a Member. You are eligible to earn referral points for a maximum of 10x completed referrals (or 500 points) per year.
To redeem this Refer A Friend benefit:
Log in to your Kiehl’s Family Rewards account and click on ‘Refer A Friend’ to find your unique Refer A Friend code.
Share your unique code with friends and invite them to join Kiehl’s Family Rewards. Please note that if your friend is an existing Member of Kiehl’s Family Rewards, they will not be eligible to receive the Refer A Friend benefit.
Your referred friend will need to create their own Kiehl’s Family Rewards account by signing up and using your unique referral code [here]
Providing that your referred friend makes their first purchase within 1 year of registering for Kiehl’s Family Rewards, once such a qualifying purchase has been made you will both receive email notifications that your Refer A Friend points bonus are available in your respective Member accounts.
From time to time, Kiehl’s may also provide members with an opportunity to receive additional benefits through participation in particular activities, features, or by uploading user content on social media platforms. In an effort to always be transparent with our Kiehl’s Family Rewards members and the public at large, we remind you that whenever you receive account spend credit or products or other incentives in return for such participation, you must use appropriate words of disclosure, such as "Credit Received", "Voucher Received", "Free Sample Received" or similar words to indicate that you received incentivisation from Kiehl’s Family Rewards in return for such activity.
Where Members have opted in to receive further marketing communications by email, Member account spend balances, special offers, product launch information, early access to promotions and vouchers may be communicated via email on a regular basis. All Members can access this information at any time by logging on to their account on here.
Members should allow up to thirty (30) days for Kiehl’s vouchers to be issued after a qualifying purchase is made and qualifying points earned. Kiehl’s vouchers are valid for redemption for sixty 90 (960) days after the date on which they are emailed to an eligible member.
Members who wish to leave Kiehl’s Family Rewards may disenrol at any time. This can be done either via Member’s Kiehl’s Family Rewards online account (accessible by logging on here, accessing the “Family Rewards” section, clicking ‘FAQ’ section for Disenrollment and clicking ‘Disenroll’. Members will receive an operational email confirming their disenrollment from Kiehl’s Family Rewards. Upon disenrollment, a Member’s account reward balance will be forfeited.
ELIGIBILITY
Kiehl’s Family Rewards is open to UK residents who are 16 years of age or older at the time of registration. Participation in Kiehl’s Family Rewards is voluntary. You do not need to join Kiehl’s Family Rewards to purchase Kiehl’s products.
Membership in Kiehl’s Family Rewards and its benefits are offered at the discretion of Kiehl’s. Kiehl’s may, at any time, terminate, change, limit, modify or cancel Kiehl’s Family Rewards (or any individual component of it) and/or these Terms, without notice. By enrolling in Kiehl’s Family Rewards, you hereby agree to abide by these Terms, which may be updated from time to time by Kiehl’s in its sole discretion, and confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements set out herein.
Commercial use (e.g. purchasing product for the purpose of re-selling) of Kiehl’s Family Rewards is strictly prohibited and will be considered an abuse of the programme. Kiehl’s reserves the right in its sole discretion, at the point of purchase or retrospectively, to determine whether, in its reasonable opinion, a purchase is for commercial use.
Kiehl’s may take any action it deems appropriate in its sole discretion, including closing or suspending your Kiehl’s Family Rewards account and/or revoking any accrued rewards or vouchers if it has reason to believe you have contravened these Terms or are abusing Kiehl’s Family Rewards in any way.
Only one Kiehl’s Family Rewards program account may be associated with a single email address. In the event of a dispute over a Kiehl’s Family Rewards membership account, the registration will be deemed to have been made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of enrolment. For the purposes of these Terms, the "authorized account holder" is the natural person who is assigned to the submitted email address by an internet provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
By enrolling in Kiehl’s Family Rewards, members agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about themselves and to maintain and promptly update the information to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If a member provides any data which is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or if Kiehl’s, in its sole discretion, suspects that a member’s registration data is untrue, inaccurate or incomplete or that they are in any way abusing their membership in Kiehl’s Family Rewards, Kiehl’s reserves the right to suspend, terminate or refuse that member’s participation in Kiehl’s Family Rewards.
COMMUNICATIONS AND REVIEWING YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION
Where Members have opted in to receive further communications by email, Members may periodically receive emails from Kiehl’s, including emails about Kiehl’s Family Rewards and other personalised promotions and ads that may be of interest to you. Members may opt out of the marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of our emails or contacting Kiehl’s Customer Support [email protected] or call us on 0800 917 1846 between 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday. Where Members do not opt in to receive further communications, minimum operational emails will still be sent to members in relation to their membership in Kiehl’s Family Rewards only. Examples of these include: the Kiehl’s Family Rewards welcome email, voucher issuance emails, membership monthly statements, key benefit emails e.g. Birthday Surprise, or other essential service-based communications that help us to ensure that your account is up-to-date. Should a member wish to stop receiving all email correspondence from Kiehl’s, including Family Rewards operational emails, they must disenroll from their Kiehl’s Family Rewards membership.
Members are at all times responsible for ensuring that their email address for Kiehl’s Family Rewards is kept up-to-date and Kiehl’s are not responsible for any lost or delayed communications regarding Kiehl’s Family Rewards. To review or change their account information at any time, members can review Kiehl’s Family Rewards under “My Account” section of the website by logging on here.
GENERAL PROGRAMME CONDITIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
Rewards still accrue on the purchase of discounted or sale items but Members’ Kiehl’s Family Rewards vouchers are not redeemable against the purchase of Kiehl’s gift cards or e-gift cards, nor value added tax or delivery charges. If a Member wishes to redeem their Kiehl’s Family Rewards voucher on kiehls.co.uk, the voucher must be applied against 1 full price item and total basket spend must be greater than £0 (NB: this limitation does not apply to Kiehl’s boutique voucher redemptions). For example, a £15 voucher cannot be redeemed online against a £10 product as the total basket spend will be £0. Vouchers cannot be combined with other discounts or price promotions, but can be combined with gift with purchase offers e.g. Birthday Surprise or free deluxe samples.
Each reward may be redeemed on one occasion only and may not be retrospectively applied to previous purchases.
Rewards and accrued member points balances have no monetary value and cannot be transferred, bought, sold or traded, except as stated in these Terms.
Member account points balances may not be combined with another member’s account point balance or be transferred or sold. Member account points balances have no purpose or use other than the purchase of Kiehl’s qualifying products or services, in accordance with point 22 above.
Member account points balances are not valid unless accrued in strict compliance with the requirements set forth in these Terms, and members shall not attempt to earn account points by any illicit means (including, without limitation, by using any script, bot, data mine or other automated means).
In the event that a member returns any of their purchased items (in respect of which they had accrued Kiehl’s Family Rewards member account spend credit), their member account point balance will be decreased accordingly to reflect the return(s) made.
In the case of a dispute regarding the account points balance available to any member, Kiehl’s decision will be final. Upon termination of membership for any reason, all account points and rewards will be forfeited.
ABUSE OR MISUSE OF THE PROGRAM
By enrolling in Kiehl’s Family Rewards, a member agrees not to (a) take any action or (b) upload, post, submit or otherwise distribute or facilitate distribution of any user content (including text, communications, software, photographs, videos, sound recordings, data or other information) using any communications service, discussion forum, or other feature available on or through Kiehl’s Family Rewards, in any manner, that is unlawful, deceptive, misleading, fraudulent, threatening, abusive, harassing, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, tortious, obscene, profane, infringes on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, right of privacy, any other right of any party or which otherwise violates Kiehl’s website terms and conditions [https://www.kiehls.co.uk/customer-service/terms-of-use.html]. Members further agree not to (a) upload any content that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on Kiehl’s computing, storage or communications infrastructure, or attempts to gain unauthorised access to Kiehl’s Family Rewards, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to or related to Kiehl’s Family Rewards, through password mining or otherwise; (b) contains software viruses or any other computer codes, files, or programs that are designed or intended to disrupt, damage, limit or interfere with the proper function of any software, hardware or network system or to damage or obtain unauthorised access to any system, data or other information of Kiehl’s, or any third party; (c) creates member accounts by any automated means or under false pretenses or impersonates any person or entity, including an employee or representative of Kiehl’s; or (d) harvests, scrapes or collects any information from www.kiehls.co.uk.
Kiehl’s assumes no responsibility for any problems or delays related to any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised by the member; any human error; or any interruption, deletion, omission, defect or failure of any network or electronic transmission for whatever reason.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
Kiehl’s and each member each irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England in respect of any dispute or claim arising from Kiehl’s Family Rewards, the rewards or other member benefits from or relating to Kiehl’s Family Rewards and these Terms or a member’s participation in Kiehl’s Family Rewards.
Kiehl’s Family Rewards and these Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

What is Kiehl’s Family Rewards?
Kiehl’s Family Rewards is the loyalty program for Kiehl’s customers. As a member, you can enjoy exclusive rewards and benefits when you purchase at Kiehls.co.uk or at Kiehl’s standalone stores. Please note, Kiehl’s dept. store counters and other retailers or stockists are excluded.
Family Reward benefits include complimentary delivery on all online orders, birthday treats, early access to seasonal promotions, rewards for recycling and skin consults and more.
How do I enroll and become a member?
Enrolling is easy:
If you have a Kiehls.co.uk account, sign-in to ‘My Account’ and click the Family Rewards enrol button on Account Settings.
If you don’t have a Kiehls.co.uk account, register here and enroll in Family Rewards at the same time.
If you shop in Kiehl’s stores, you can visit any of our staff store and speak to us for instant signup. You can also register online – just be sure to use the same email address you gave in-store, so we can reward you for purchases online and instore.
How does Kiehl’s Rewards work?
You become a member on the day you enrol in the Kiehl's Family Rewards program.
As soon as you register, you can start collecting points by purchasing products in our Kiehl's stores and at Kiehls.co.uk, or by recycling in-store, completing a consult and more.
Your rolling points are automatically converted into rewards e.g. £10 voucher issued when you achieve 120 points.
Your points accumulation also upgrade your tier status and unlocks access to new benefits.
Tier status is calculated according to the number of points acquired over the last 2 years.
FAN status = between 0 and 120 points acquired over 2 years
FRIEND status = between 120 and 350 points acquired over 2 years
FAMILY status = more than 350 points acquired over 2 years
The email address you created your account with is your very unique identifier to access your Kiehl's Family Rewards account. To create an online account, you must use your e-mail address provided at the instore point of sale when registering, and vice versa.
Can I track my Kiehl’s Rewards account online?
Yes. Personalised tracking of program status, including tier status and rewards eligibility, is available on Kiehls.co.uk in the My Account section. You will receive personalised emails alerting you to how far away you are from your next “Wings” status level and next Kiehl’s reward.
How and when will I receive my rewards? e.g. £10 vouchers or welcome offers
Your rewards are always available at checkout when you login on Kiehls.co.uk or identify yourself to staff at our store checkout till. Rewards are automatically issued when you hit the qualifying points balance e.g. when you achieve 120 points, we automatically issue you a £10 voucher to use in your next purchase.
It can take up to 5 working days to issue the reward but usually it appears within 24 hours.
How do I earn points?
With Family Rewards, you can earn points for purchases as well as recycling, completing consults and more.
£1 spent = 1 point in-store or online at Kiehls.co.uk
1 recycled bottle = 15 points ** With our updated Recycle and Be Rewarded offer, you can also earn points by recycling your skincare empties in our standalone stores.
Referring a Friend = 50 points. Refer a friend to Family Rewards and receive 50 points when they make their first purchase
Complete a skincare consultation = 20 points. Book and complete a consult in-store or virtually online and let our staff know you are a member (Max 1 consult every 3 months)
Points Promotions: We will also run special points promotions during select time periods e.g. Double Points on your first Family Rewards purchase, or Bonus Points if you shop our SPF range
Giftcards or gift receipts bought in-store are excluded
When will I receive a Kiehl’s Family Rewards loyalty voucher?
When you are a member, a loyalty voucher is automatically allocated to you for every 120 points acquired.
Fan or Friend Tier: 120 points = loyalty voucher of £10 to spend on your next purchase
Family Tier: 120 points = loyalty voucher of £15 to spend on your next purchase
When a loyalty voucher is acquired, you will receive an email the day after your purchase.
Example: if you spend £120 on June 15, you will receive an email on June 16 to let you know that your loyalty voucher is available.
Loyalty vouchers are valid for 90 days from the date of purchase.
They apply to one full price item in your basket and cannot be combined with other discounts or price promotions.
When do my points and status expire?
Your points expire after 2 years.
Your £10 or £15 vouchers expire 3 months from issue.
Your tier status expires after 2 years if you do not maintain enough points required to stay in your status.
Example: if you have been a FAMILY tier member for 2 years and you have 420 points, you will remain a Family member for the next 730 days.
Another example, if you have been a FAMILY member for 730 days and you have 140 points, you become a FAN member again.
Where can I find information on my Family Rewards points/tier/rewards status on Kiehls.co.uk?
Sign In to Kiehls.co.uk and under My Account, click Family Rewards Dashboard to see your points balance, your tier status, your available rewards, your recycling history and more.
You will also receive personalised loyalty emails about your activity within the Family Rewards program (change of status, new benefits, invitation to private sales.)
If you signed up for Family Rewards in-store, you need to make a Kiehls.co.uk account. Make sure you use the same email address as you did in-store so all your purchase activity is tied to the same account.
How do I change my information on my Kiehl’s Family Rewards account?
Kiehls.co.uk: Log into your account. You can update your information in the “My Account” section.
In store, please let a Kiehl’s Customer Representative know that you have a change to make to your account information and they can take care of it for you.
Do my Tier benefits expire?
Your Tier benefits expire after 2 years i.e. if you don’t accumulate enough points to maintain Tier status within 2 years. You’ll downgrade to your eligible Tier.
Do my rewards expire?
Yes. Your rewards £10 or £15 vouchers will expire 90 days after being issued.
Other rewards including welcome offers will have varying expiry dates that are listed under ‘My Available Rewards’ in the Family Rewards Dashboard. We will send you an email reminder when your reward is about to expire.
Can I combine multiple Family Rewards in the same purchase?
Family Rewards £10 or £15 vouchers can only be used once against a full price item in your basket.
They cannot be combined in one transaction, or combined with other promotions or discounts.
However, you can combine the £10 or £15 vouchers with free gifts with purchase e.g. a welcome pack of skincare deluxe minis or a birthday treat
Is there a spending threshold to redeem rewards?
Instore, no – you may redeem your rewards no matter how much you spend on your purchase.
Online, there is a spend threshold – your order after all rewards have been applied cannot be equal to zero because of system limitations. In instances where rewards are applied toward a purchase in which the purchase total is less than the combined total value of the Kiehl’s rewards, any remaining balance on the rewards is forfeited upon completion of the purchase. For example, if the reward is £10 and your purchase is £9.50, you will get your product for free, but will forfeit the remaining £0.50.
Can I use my rewards both online and in store?
Yes. You can redeem rewards online or in-store. Rewards must be used in full and cannot be broken to be applied to multiple transactions.
Online rewards must be redeemed against a qualifying transaction.
When do I receive my Birthday treat?
We’ll send you an email 7 days before your birthday to claim your birthday treat.
You can either add it to your next online purchase when you sign in and checkout.
Or pick-up instore with or without making a purchase.
How can I stop receiving Family Rewards loyalty emails?
To participate in Kiehl’s Family Rewards, you must receive loyalty communications so we can update you when you earn rewards and you can track your status if you only shop with us in our stores.
To stop receiving Family Rewards emails, you would have to disenroll from the Family Rewards program and lose your benefits.
How do I maintain or upgrade my Tier status?
To maintain your tier status, you must re-qualify within 2 years of your last purchase. In other words, a member must spend the same amount within 2 years of achieving a particular tier in order to maintain that tier level. A year is considered 365 days from the date of your last purchase.

Please note that if you disenroll you will lose your accrued rewards and all your benefits.
You may re-enroll with us at any time from ‘My Account’ section of your Kiehls.co.uk account or speaking to us in-store.
Can I claim missing points from a transaction I did in-store or online?
Please contact Customer Care if you do not see your points registering from an in-store or offline purchase.
